Second Discussion: Is Renewable Energy Really Cooling Globally?
|
|
Disclaimer: This is just a non chemical amazement: renewable energy has been widely used for decades, but the temperature on Earth has not decreased but increased significantly. Is renewable energy really cooling down globally? The efficiency of renewable photovoltaic energy is difficult to reach even 20%. To further develop, we can only use photovoltaic heat generation and molten salt power generation. The heat and efficiency generated by molten salt tower photothermal power generation are twice that of pure photovoltaic power generation. Even above a temperature of about 1600 degrees Celsius that can melt iron plates (https://www.manufacturing.net/energy/news/13110065/this-gigantic-solar-furnace-can-melt-stee ). At this temperature, silicon carbide tubes used in the photovoltaic industry begin to emit carbon: SiC+2COSi<=>O2+3C if any. As a result, before for the "integrated" light and heat to generate electricity, the silicon carbide tubes had already started their own carbon emissions. How could this possibly lead to global cooling?
